Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available on request. Welcome pack and doggy extras. Fridge/freezer and tumble dryer in garage. External games room with multi-use table and dartboard. ¼ acre enclosed tiered, lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and gas barbecue. Paddock by arrangement. Bike store. Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking. . Nestling close to the Yorkshire Wolds and Minster Way, this well-presented property enjoys views over a paddock to the rear, which guests can use for their enjoyment, as well as a large garden and a sunny patio. The property benefits from eco-friendly, renewable heat sources, comprising of a ground source heat pump that services the radiators, and solar panels on the roof that help to generate electricity.
Huggate is the highest village on the Yorkshire Wolds, being around 558ft above sea level, and boasts the deepest well in England at 339ft! There are great walks and cycle routes through the surrounding picturesque countryside including Millington Pastures and Wood. The popular village pub serves food, and is just a short stroll from the cottage.
Places of interest include Burnby Hall Gardens and famous water lilies at Pocklington, just 7 miles away, the Yorkshire Air Museum, Eden Camp and the stately homes of Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House, all provide interesting days out. The market town of Beverley, the historic city of York and the east coastal resorts are all within a 30-minute drive. Fishing available 10 miles away (licence required).
