Guests say

Slieve Gallion Cottage receives high praise for its generous welcome packs, cleanliness, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the peaceful location, comfortable furnishings, and the helpfulness of hosts Anne and Maurice. While most experiences are positive, a few guests mention a decline in standards, particularly regarding waste management. The cottage's rural charm and central location for exploring Northern Ireland are frequently highlighted.

The majority of guests report the cottage as immaculate and very clean, contributing to a high cleanliness score. One recent review, however, mentions a decline in cleanliness, but this seems to be an isolated incident.

The cottage's location is praised for its tranquillity and convenience for exploring Northern Ireland, with many interesting places within an hour's drive. The rural charm and quiet surroundings are consistently appreciated.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with cosy beds and a homely atmosphere. The property is described as welcoming and perfectly proportioned for a relaxing stay.

Reviews highlight the cottage as well-equipped with everything needed for a stay, including kitchen utensils and outdoor amenities. However, there are concerns about waste management during peak periods, which affects the score slightly.

The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, particularly regarding the welcome packs. While these are highly appreciated, it is noted that such generosity may vary and is not guaranteed for every stay.

It’s a lovely, clean and comfortable, beautifully decorated, home from home in the countryside. It’s the best cottage I’ve ever stayed in! Everything you could possibly need has been provided for and presented with great care and attention to detail. Anne and Maurice are lovely people and gave us a great welcome. I would highly recommend staying here.
