Kilnary Cottage is highly praised for its comfort, cleanliness, and beautiful location. Guests appreciate the well-maintained property, underfloor heating, and wildlife views. While some minor suggestions for improvements are noted, the overall sentiment is that the cottage provides a peaceful and enjoyable stay, with many expressing a desire to return.
The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being 'spotlessly clean' and 'well-maintained'. This indicates a high standard of cleanliness that guests appreciate.
The location is frequently described as beautiful, peaceful, and ideal for exploring the area. The views and wildlife are particular highlights, although the access road condition is noted by one guest.
Comfort is consistently praised, with mentions of comfortable beds, underfloor heating, and a cosy atmosphere. However, a few guests noted the mattresses could be improved, slightly affecting the score.
Facilities are generally regarded as excellent, with the cottage being well-equipped and spacious. Some guests suggested additional items like garden furniture and clearer instructions for heating controls.
While guests mention the lack of a welcome pack and suggest it would be appreciated, there is not enough consistent information on other thoughtful touches or gifts to accurately score this category.

Everything you need to have a wonderful holiday is there. Only negative for us were that the beds are quite low and not very wide. Think the beds have seen better days as weâre not very comfortable unfortunately. The tap in the kitchen is in desperate need of a new washer. Other than that, this cottage is a fantastic place to stay. Thoroughly enjoyed our week in Scotland and were able to spend quality time with family who live locally. Thank you x
