This idyllic cottage is tucked away in a traditional stone former steading, set in old established woods with well maintained trails, on the edge of the town of Stonehaven. The quiet location is perfect for families or a group of friends to escape from their everyday routine. Step into the well equipped kitchen and you will also find a table and chairs which makes it an ideal place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or an evening dinner. Moving round, a sitting room features a welcoming gas woodburning stove, comfortable seating and patio doors which open out to the courtyard. A ground floor basin and WC lies just before the stairs. Wander up to the next floor, and there is a comfortable, bright, spacious double bedroom with extensive views through the front window and courtyard views at rear window. To the other side, another room holds three single beds, enhanced by natural lighting. Lastly, a family bathroom is a signature part of this layout, containing a comfortable bath and a separate shower to meet your needs. After relaxing inside, why not step into the gardens when the sun is shining and make the most of your surroundings. You will be spoiled for choice during your stay, with the city of Aberdeen accessible from Stonehaven by train, bus or car and whiskey trails nearby. Travel to the famous Dunnottar Castle on the land train tour from Stonehaven's Market Square, or spend a day exploring the museums including infamous Peterhead Prison Museum.
