Castlewood Holiday Park is set in the heart of Royal Deeside just five miles from Banchory, with mountain views and forest walks in a tranquil environment, only thirty minutes from the excitement of Aberdeen city centre, with excellent shopping centres and cinemas to choose from, and her majesty’s theatre for some excellent shows and we have the exhibition centre for all major events. Yet thirty minutes west you are in the heart of the Cairngorms national park with no shortage of things to explore with whiskey trails, fantastic golf courses, forest and hill walks that have some spectacular scenery, castles to explore, and activity centres for all the family to enjoy
And you must indulge yourself with a visit to one of our award winning restaurants in the area to experience some of the finest foods.
Castlewood House is a large modern facility that sleeps 20 guests with all the amenity's needed to cater for your event, with a large function suite and indoor hot tubs to entertain all, we also have 1, 2, 3, and four bedroom lodges with all the modern amenity’s in which a number off the lodges have a luxurious hot tub set into the patio, we are open all year round so all our lodges are built to BS 3632 residential standard to help our customers enjoy a comfortable stay here, we have an excellent free Wi-Fi service set up in each lodge with unlimited use
all the properties have adequate parking for all.
local attraction are the Crathes Castle were their is also a Go Ape experience
Deeside activity park full of outdoor activity's, the Queens residence at Balmoral Castle is a short drive away and also a number off whiskey distillery's to choose from.
Banchory is five miles away were their are two supermarkets (Tesco & Morrisons) to choose from with three pubs on the high street and Raemoir Garden Centre full of plants and gifts with an excellent café and restaurant.
