Highchair available on request. . Lawned garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and BBQ. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. In a spectacular and peaceful rural setting with magnificent views down the valley to the Atlantic Ocean and the Isle of Islay beyond, this detached cottage offers a haven of peace and tranquility. Next to the owner’s home and accessed by a rough track, it is only a 10-minute drive from the small harbour town of Campbeltown and a 15-minute drive from the world renowned Machrihanish Golf Course. The Kintyre Peninsula is known for its unspoilt beauty, superb golf courses, extensive white sandy beaches, spectacular wildlife, historic castles and of course the local whisky. Nearby the Kintyre Way offers a variety of walking terrain from serious hiking to gentle rambles, ideal for walkers and cyclists. Windsurfers have a choice of beaches, and for the less experienced keen to give it a try, tuition can be booked locally. The neighbouring islands of Gigha, Arran, Islay and Jura make for more great days out and a chance to experience island culture. Unhurried, the pace of life is ideal for a romantic getaway, relaxing holiday, sporting weekend, or just a base to explore the surrounding beauty of the Kintyre Peninsula. Beach 1 mile. Shop 6 miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
