Ideally located on the edge of Dalbeattie Woods and just moment’s away from the local amenities, Moyle Lodge is a wonderful pet-friendly choice for couples, friends and families. Upon arrival, you will find three off-road parking spaces, along with a lovely, decked terrace where you can savour your morning coffee with a view. Step into your new home from home, where you will find a well-equipped kitchen/diner for cooking up your best dishes, ready to enjoy over a bottle of wine at the dining table for four. Continue through to the sitting room, where you can relax on the plush corner sofa and enjoy a movie night on the TV with loved ones. Completing the ground floor is a well-appointed shower room, ideal for freshening up after a day of exploring. Head upstairs, where you will discover a sleek bathroom for indulgent soaks, along with two tastefully decorated bedrooms, a double with TV and a twin. Dalbeattie, a picturesque Scottish country town, is located in the southwest of the country. Located in a wooded valley on the banks of the River Urr, the town serves as a gateway to the stunning scenery of the Solway Coast, including its miles of sandy beaches and quaint fishing villages. Stone from the Dalbeattie granite quarry was shipped all over the world, including to the construction of the Eddystone Lighthouse and the Thames Embankment. Forest walks in Glentrool, where you can retrace Richard Hannay's steps in The Thirty-Nine Steps, and the nearby world-famous 7stanes mountain biking complex have made it a popular destination for those seeking a taste of the great outdoors. The walks into Dalbeattie Forest were terrific and our dog loved every minute. Within walking distance of the town which has not one but two brilliant butchers. Superb beach at Sandyhills is only a 10 minute drive away (check the tide times) Well worth a trip to Gatehouse of Fleet. Our dog insists on coming back so we must go along with such a well thought out decision

It was clean and tidy. We loved the hamper basket with goodies. The dog treats were most welcome thank you. Although beds were soft the linen was really nice. It was a shame we couldnât see any recycling facilities. The bunnies outside entertained the dogs no end. An ideal quiet location on the doorstep of dog walks and local town. The milk in the fridge after a long journey was very much appreciated.

We found it to be quiet yet well appointed with Dalbeattie in walking distance. The fabulous Dalbeattie forest became our regular walk with the dog. The Lodge itself suited our needs - it was warm - comfortable and clean. We used it as our base to travel around Dumfries and Galloway and were lucky to be blessed with great weather and stunning sunsets We would highly recommend the facility and would definitely consider booking another visit
