Within a mile from the cottage, rspb Mereshead is an exensive wetland and saltmarsh which offers year round bird and wildlife watching. There are many delightful gardens and historical attractions to visit, or alternatively you could just take a drive along the coast road and explore the many little sandy beaches and delightful little villages along the way.
