Guests say

Hetland is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its spaciousness, well-equipped kitchen, and secure garden ideal for pets. Guests enjoyed the cosy wood stove, the proximity to a garden centre and local attractions, and the thoughtful touches from the owner. While some guests noted issues with cleanliness and the proximity to a main road, the overall experience was positive, with many planning to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the property to be spotless, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, a few guests mentioned that certain areas needed more thorough cleaning, such as behind beds and kitchen chairs, and issues with dust and debris. These instances seem to be exceptions rather than the norm.

The location is generally appreciated for its proximity to local attractions, beaches, and dining options. The presence of a garden centre and Dino World next door was a highlight for some, though a few guests were surprised by the property's closeness to a main road.

Guests were pleased with the property's comfort, mentioning comfortable beds, a cosy indoor wood stove, and a spacious environment suitable for large groups. Some guests found the mattresses and pillows less comfortable, but this was not a widespread concern.

The facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen, pool table, and secure garden, were highly rated. Guests appreciated the ample parking and bathrooms. A few minor points were raised about the lack of cleaning products and some kitchen items, but overall, the facilities met guests' needs.

While guests mentioned thoughtful gestures from the owner and appreciated the amenities provided, there were no specific references to gifts. Therefore, it is not possible to score this category accurately, and the score is set to null.

The sheets did not fit the bed as they were to small. Not enough utensils as we had to borrow a potato masher from a neighbour and also need to clean dead flys of the window sills

My daughter cooked up some fab meals and enjoyed the kitchen and its facilities. My son was happy with the pool table and my dog was more than happy with the large enclosed garden and all the bushes he could rummage in

Good size for a large family and plenty of bathrooms . The weather wasn't too good for us ...we would have loved to spend more time in the garden . Loved seeing the rabbits in the evening . A barbeque would have been a bonus . We were unable to find any egg cups in the kitchen but otherwise we had everything we needed. All in all we had a lovely laid back week and quite a few games of pool in the evening...family competitions lol . Thank you for a lovely week. .
