This detached property is situated just yards from the shore, with stunning views and wildlife. Attractive walks for all ages and abilities start from the door; choices including gentle beach walks and coastal paths, and the nearby arboretum and woodland garden at Galloway House, famous for its spring display of azaleas and rhododendrons. The more challenging Galloway Hills, and the world class 7Stanes mountain bike trails are within easy reach. Fishing, canoeing and golf are on the doorstep. Wigtown, Scotland’s book town, lies 8 miles to the north, and en route is Bladnoch, Scotland’s most southerly distillery with visitor centre. The artists town of Kirkcudbright with its flourishing colony of artists and craft workers is also nearby, as are Whithorn, the cradle of early British Christianity, and the picturesque harbour villages of Isle of Whithorn and Port William. Beach 50 yards. Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant 250 yards.
