The ground floor of this detached cottage has a lovely living room where you can curl up in front of the large TV and watch something as a family. The large kitchen/dining room is perfect for those family meals and sociable evenings. The bedrooms are all on the first floor where there is also a lovely space with DVDs and games, ideal for keeping the little ones entertained.

The gardens are a joy, with plenty of sitting out areas and a large lawn, with full size badminton net, swingball, football net and a sandpit for the younger children to enjoy. Redcastle Mill really is delightful and a place you will want to return to time and time again.

The area surrounding Redcastle Mill is truly beautiful from the lovely beaches at Sandyhills and Southerness to the stunning coastal walks along Kippford and Rockcliffe. Enjoy a forest walk in Mabie or Dalbeattie, where you will also find the 7Stanes Mountain biking routes - some of the best in Europe. Only 6 miles away is Castle Douglas, where you will find a variety of shops, from your major Supermarkets to some wonderful unique shops, and lots of places to dine. Beach 10 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1½ mile.
