Airyolland is a traditional single storey cottage with sea views over the bouldery shore of Luce Bay to the Scaur Rocks and the Isle of Man, there are near by sandy beaches where dogs and children can run free and frequently have a deserted beach to explore all by themselves. The spacious conservatory is the perfect place to relax and look out for the family of otters who live by the sea and also enjoy sunsets and the starry sky at night.
Cosy nights in after a day out exploring can be enjoyed by the open fire in the living room. This is the perfect spot for relaxing or for the more adventurous there are lovely walks, cycling tracks, water sports, horse riding centres and top-notch golf courses all within a 5 to 30-minute drive away. This area has an abundance of beautiful gardens and historical spots that, combined with great pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, makes this the perfect spot for a holiday with friends and family.

Lovely cosy cottage. Enjoyed being so close to the beach. Set up our telescope in the sunroom to watch the seabirds flying by.

Airyolland is a great base for a part of Scotland we know very well. It was clean and warm but it is an old cottage. The garden is secure and safe for dogs. It’s nice to sit in the sun room listening to the sea and watching The Mull of Galloway lighthouse in the distance. We had 3 incredibly clear nights so the stars were amazing, we could even make out the Milky Way. The only thing I will say is that some of the pans/wok etc could do with being replaced as I used the wok one night and there were bits of black coating off the wok in the food which had to be binned. We enjoyed our stay non the less.
