Pulling up to the property, you will find ample off-road parking and a picturesque white painted property with pretty lawn and furniture for dining outside or just enjoying your lovely surroundings. Head inside and discover a cosy living/dining room with a relaxing sofa and armchair to sink into, while the open coal fire fills the room with warmth and you enjoy catching up on your favourite shows on the Freeview TV, while the dining table has seating for four and is the ideal spot for enjoying meals together and making plans for your stay. The compact kitchen has all of the appliances and amenities you will need during your self-catered stay; enjoy creating delicious meals whilst enjoying your rural surroundings from the window. The property has two bedrooms,a double and a twin, all elegantly styled and spacious, offering plenty of storage and with lovely white painted wooden floorboards. These rooms are served by the family bathroom, with a walk-in shower, so you can start each day with a quick and refreshing rinse. Whithorn is a former Royal Burgh and is best-known for having the first recorded Christian church is Scotland. Located on the Machars Peninsula in Dumfries and Galloway, the town is well-placed for exploring the coast and countryside. The area of Whithorn is rich in history and is also home to a medieval priory and an archaeological site. The distinctive shape of Whithorn, with its spacious central area and narrow entrance-ways of elegant Georgian houses, displays its medieval heritage. The Machars and Rhins of Galloway are also home to spectacular gardens, a result of the Gulf Stream and mild climate. Logan Botanic Gardens, the Aldouran Wetland and the spectacular gardens of Castle Kennedy are all a must see. To the north of the Machars are the Galloway Hills, offering walking to all levels as well as world class mountain biking. Golf, fishing and wildlife spotting are well catered for and the sandy beaches of Monrieth, Garleston, and along the whole of Luce Bay will delight any visitor.
