A rural detached former gardener’s cottage situated within the grounds of the historic Bargaly Estate.. Ground Floor:

Living room/diner: with wood burner, Sky TV (free to view channels only), DVD player, radio/CD.
Kitchen: with tiled floor, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine.
Bedroom 1: with double bed.
Bedroom 2: With zip and link twin beds (can be super kingsize on request).
Bathroom: with bath, shower cubicle, WC and wash basin. . All electric, bed linen and towels provided. First basket of logs provided free of charge. Travel cot and high chair available. Welcome pack provided. Strictly no smoking.. Enclosed courtyard and garden. Garden furniture and BBQ provided. Store available for bikes/equipment. Salmon and trout fishing by separate arrangement. Private parking for 3 cars. Natural water supply from a spring. . Gardener’s Cottage sits peacefully in the heart of the historic Bargaly Estate. As its name portrays, Gardener’s Cottage was once the home of the head gardener to this estate, owned by the famous horticulturist Andrew Heron and dates back to 1675. Newton Stewart is within a five mile drive and here is the gateway to the Galloway Hills which are every bit as challenging as some of their more loftier neighbours in the north!
