Glen Cottage in Torridon offers a warm, cosy stay with spacious bedrooms and stunning scenery. Guests enjoy the serene, peaceful location with wildlife sightings, though some noted the kitchen could be better equipped. The property's charm and comfort are frequently praised, and despite minor issues, many visitors plan to return.
Most guests found the cottage clean and comfortable. However, a few reported issues with cleanliness such as a dirty oven, extractor hood, and outdoor bin, which slightly lowers the score.
The location is highly praised for its unbelievable position, serenity, and proximity to wildlife and scenic walks. It's considered an iconic house in a stunning setting, contributing to a high score.
Guests describe the cottage as warm, cosy, and well-insulated, with comfortable beds and furnishings. Some minor discomforts were mentioned, such as the size of duvets and a damp downstairs bedroom.
While the property is appreciated for its charm and essential amenities, several guests noted a lack of kitchenware, issues with hot water, and a need for better recycling solutions. These maintenance concerns affect the score.
