Guests say

Glen Nevis Cottage is a well-regarded holiday rental, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and convenient location close to Fort William. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy atmosphere, and the warm welcome from the owners. While some guests suggest the property could benefit from modernisation, particularly in the bathroom and kitchen, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

The cottage is consistently described as very clean, with multiple reviews affirming its tidiness. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness that guests are satisfied with.

The location is highly praised for being ideal for both town amenities and country walks. Its proximity to shops, restaurants, and scenic walks contributes to its excellent location score.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, mentioning comfy beds and a cosy atmosphere. However, a few comments about the need for additional heating and modern decor slightly affect the comfort score.

The facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and garden, are appreciated, but some guests note that the property could use modernisation and a power shower. These suggestions for improvement impact the facilities score.

Guests mention thoughtful touches like a pint of milk and shortbread on arrival, indicating the owners' consideration. However, as these gifts may not be guaranteed for every stay, the score reflects this uncertainty.

The property owners are very friendly, but leave us very much to ourselves, although are always on hand in case of any problems that should appear. Extremely conveniently placed for the town but also for getting out into the countryside to explore. A peaceful and quiet property.

It's in an excellent location not only to explore Fort William but the surrounding area. This is the 2nd time we've stayed in this cottage which is something we have never done before.

Due to its age the level of daylight inside the cottage is not brilliant. Situated in a very scenic area you only have to walk a very short distance from the door to see the beauty of the surrounding area. Trees and buildings do obscure the views from the cottage and its gardens. That said it is a great location for exploring the region and a very comfortable well equipped cottage.
