On road parking. No smoking. . The Garden Room is an architecturally designed, Siberian larch-clad hidden gem in the heart of Inverness’s nicest area. Tucked away in the ‘Crown’ area of Inverness, the Garden Room is a timber-clad luxury studio cleverly designed and built on stilts on a steep hillside. The property enjoys amazing views of Inverness Castle, the historic cityscape and also mountains to the north. From the moment you emerge from the little alleyway that leads you the rear of a row of historic houses, you’re bowled over by the Garden Room.
It’s unique in Inverness, there’s no other property like this with such an incredible view over the city to the dramatic Highlands in the distance. It’s an outstanding place to stay in the city, but also in the Highlands. A great base for those wanting to explore Inverness and its awe-inspiring surrounds. Emerging from the alleyway, arriving in the garden, you immediately want to get a look at the view that the Garden Room enjoys. However, the view is best from within the property, and from the balcony, instead of down in the front garden, which is much lower than the accommodation. Entering the property, it is set out as a luxury studio, with the focal point being the balcony and view. You’ll want to spend a lot of time on the balcony gazing over the cityscapes and distant landscapes. The interior has been finished to a very high standard making the Garden Room a lovely place to be after days out exploring near and far.
The beauty of staying at the Garden Room is that you have the bars, cafes and restaurants of Inverness right on your doorstep, including those in the ever-popular ‘Crown’ area. You also have easy-access in every direction to explore the varied and magnificent Scottish Highlands. The Garden Room offers the best of both worlds for a Highland holiday. Within half an hour you can be on a sandy beach on the Black Isle at Rosemarkie, strolling along the shores of Loch Ness or exploring the important Culloden Battlefield. The Cairngorms NP are only 45 minutes away and there are Munro trailheads to set off on within an hour. The Isle of Skye, Applecross and many other NC500 destinations are all easy day-trips from the Garden Room. This property offers an excellent, luxury bolthole to base yourself at for a Highland holiday. Book now and be grateful you did!
