Roddy's Cottage is praised for its stunning location, cleanliness, and beautiful views, making it a peaceful retreat. Guests appreciate the comfortable beds and the enclosed garden, ideal for dogs. The cottage's charm and wildlife sightings contribute to a relaxing holiday experience.
The majority of guests found the cottage to be very clean, with several reviews highlighting its spotlessness. However, one review mentioned it being dirty, which seems to be an outlier.
The location is consistently described as stunning, remote, and peaceful, with incredible views and abundant wildlife. Its proximity to the village and local shop is also appreciated.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, but some reviews mention dated furniture and issues with the sofas and dining space, suggesting room for improvement.
While the cottage is equipped with essentials and has a secure garden, there are comments about dated kitchen facilities, a sensitive fire alarm, and a lack of certain expected amenities like Sky TV and a dishwasher.
