The Deer Stalker Hotel 7 mile towards Dalwinnie does a range of meals if you don't want to cook on your hols. The Dalwinnie Distillery is a must and we enjoyed that as we took the 1 hour 45 minute tour with Robert being our guide (Top Man). We used the cottage as a base to rest at night as we were mostly touring during the day going to various locations. All in all we had a great week at Grouse Cottage, and if you do book up, look out for the heard of deer that gather in the field across the road, we saw them every night on our stay and counted 20 on two occasions. :-)

We had trouble finding it even with a sat nav. Clean & a good place to use as a bace .could do with a new hot plate found it unusual there was no oven. Luckily we knew how to use a halogen cooker but an air fryer wouldn't go a miss all in all for our first time in Scotland it was a lovely property to stay in .
