This attractive cottage sits in its own grounds in the crofting village of Staffin, 17 miles north of Portree on the Isle of Skye. Fully refurbished and tastefully decorated throughout, this cottage is a welcoming haven as you return from an exciting day exploring this mystical island. With comfortable bedrooms and two sitting rooms, parents can enjoy some well-earned relaxation time in one sitting room while the children play in the other. The cottage is ideally situated to explore some of the fascinating aspects of this island; The Quiraing, an unworldly rock formation is close by and well worth a visit, while Staffin also boasts the only sandy beach in north Skye, making this a destination which has something for everyone. A great holiday cottage for the whole family.

It was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen has all modern appliances and plenty crockery and cutlery. There is also a Freeview TV and WiFi.The wrap-around garden is secure and very dog friendly. The cottage is around 18 miles north of Portree and is close to some of Skyeâs stunning sights such as the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, Quiraing and Lealt Falls. There is also the sandy beach at Staffin which you can access by road or a good walk from the cottage. There is a shop and a couple of eating places in Staffin. There is something about this place that makes you feel relaxed and content. Will definitely be back again.

Well located for the tourist attractions and the owner rang us with really helpful tips about our stay. Could highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Skye to see the sights but also have quiet days relaxing and sitting in private grounds
