This traditional, detached stone cottage enjoys a truly spectacular setting, perched right on the edge of the rocks with the waves of Lochcarron lapping beneath. Otters and seals can be seen regularly from the large picture windows. Uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains and over the sea to Skye, serve as a stunning backdrop. This exceptional property is set in its own pretty garden, leading straight down to the rocks and shingle beach. The area is renowned for its wildlife, superb scenery and unspoilt coastline. Take a trip across Britain’s highest road pass (2053 ft) to visit the beautiful village of Applecross, Sheildaig and the spectacular Torridon Mountains. Sea-fish from the rocks adjoining the cottage, explore the tucked-away coves and beaches and enjoy the amazing sunsets across the bay. Conveniently situated for touring the Isle of Skye, with its majestic Cuillins, castles and stunning beaches. Lochcarron village is 5 miles away and has a good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops as well as a 9-hole golf course. Can also be booked with property W41502 for larger parties. Initial fuel for open fire included, thereafter available locally at cost. Up to two dogs only. The banister/balustrade height of this property is less than 1m and the gaps between the spindles are more than 10cm.
