Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is generally described as clean, with several guests noting its tidiness upon arrival. However, some guests mentioned issues such as a stale smoke smell and old towels, which slightly detract from the overall cleanliness perception.

The location is highly praised for its lovely views and proximity to the harbour, contributing to a relaxing holiday experience. The adjacent pub is appreciated by some for its sociability, though it may affect the tranquillity for others, especially at weekends.

Guests find the bedrooms comfortable and the property spacious. However, there are several remarks about uncomfortable sofas and issues with windows and drafts, suggesting that while the property is adequate, there is room for improvement in comfort.

The cottage is equipped with essential appliances, but guests have noted a lack of basic supplies and maintenance issues such as leaks and outdated information. These factors indicate that the facilities meet basic needs but require attention to enhance the guest experience.

Sun room awsome. Neighbours were brilliant, on both sides. Only issues were toilet seat loose and toilet and cupboard doors awkward to open. Couch in tv lounge passed its best. Although we only used the tv once.

Bedding smelt of dogs. Back garden area could do with a make over and little more attention to detail eg: for most appliances and windows. But overall we had a good holiday.

.even waking some of us up during the night it was so drafty! The conservatory roof leaked a bit, and a really bad leak at the front door under the large front door mat! Also really lacking basic essentials which for the price of the cottage was really disappointing, no hand soap, no washing up liquid, no dishwasher tablets, no spare binliners not even one. Also bulbs not working in lamps, no sockets working in the living room when we arrived so we had to find the fuse board and sort that out because something had tripped out, and a bedroom window was left wide open when we arrived so the house was absolutely freezing and it took ages to warm up once we’d put the heating on! Sofas need replacing too, so uncomfortable! The good things..lots of space, loads of pots and pans etc in the kitchen which was good for 6 adults, nice shower, good secure garden for the dog, great spot by the harbour and hubby and sons were happy being next door to the pub!
