Aurora View is a well-received cottage with stunning sea views, offering a comfortable and relaxing stay. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, spaciousness, and proximity to the beach and local amenities. The natural beauty of the area, with opportunities to see wildlife such as deer and dolphins, adds to the charm. While some minor maintenance issues and disturbances were mentioned, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests planning to return.
The property is consistently described as clean and well-presented. A few guests noted that windows needed cleaning and one mentioned an electrical problem, but these seem to be isolated incidents rather than a trend.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach, stunning views of the Moray Firth, and easy access to local attractions. The peaceful setting and availability of nearby eateries contribute to its high rating.
Guests find the property comfortable and cosy, with a few noting the quality of the beds and the warmth of the flat. However, some guests mentioned issues with drafts and mattress comfort, slightly lowering the score.
The property is well-equipped, with guests generally satisfied with the amenities provided. There were comments about a missing Bose speaker, issues with heating control, and a suggestion for a four-slice toaster, indicating room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, a score cannot be given for this category.

In the past, Findhorn was a bustling fishing port, and it still maintains strong ties to the sea, with a large portion of the village's activities centred around the bay and the Royal Findhorn Yacht Club situated on the waterfront.
The Gulf Stream's influence on the area's mild climate makes it a popular tourist destination. The Findhorn Foundation's Ecovillage and international centre for holistic education are perhaps its most well-known features.

Highly recommend. Lovely view and enjoyed walking along the Findhorn coast. Good supper at the Crown & Anchor. (Two small suggestions - better pillows and en suite shower drain to be cleaned out.)
