Surrounding the property is a large enclosed garden with banked up lawns, trees and a summerhouse sitting on its own elevated decking area, as well as a ground level patio at the rear of the house which is perfect for enjoying sunny days.
Tummel Bridge, in the heart of Highland Perthshire, is in an area renowned for the diversity of its natural and cultural heritage, where rivers, locks, mountains and forests form some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland. Pitlochry is only 13 miles, with its wealth of gift shops and cafés. The hydro dam and fish ladder are well worth a visit, as is the Festival Theatre and in October, the renowned Enchanted Forest which will delight old and new alike (booking essential). For the energetic, there is a huge range of activities nearby, from bungee jumping, white water rafting, golfing on several courses and horse riding, but if shopping is more your thing, take a trip to the House of Bruar, known as the Harrods of the North.
