Lots of extras such as tea towels, washing up liquid, board games, tea and coffee, milk; the list goes on. Very well equipped lodge. Comfy beds. Nice and warm. Great views off the decking. Gorgeous Autumn colours out and about in the countryside. The site is tidy and well maintained. Local Border towns great for a look around. Plenty of tourist attractions. The mausoleum is worth a walk, Donkey sanctuary, Mary Queen of Scots house, Jedburgh Jail, Harestanes play park and craft courtyard, Floors Castle walled garden. Would stay again. Thank you Shona.

A return visit from a week at a similar time last year. The location of the park in which it is situated allows easy drive access to many surrounding towns and places of interest. The lodge itself lacks nothing in comfort and contents. Relax or get out and about as it might suit you at the moment. In our mind, rates above the 5 star status.
