Surrounded by woods and fields, the seven 4 * cottages offer flexible, quality accommodation for groups. 1 Eden Cottage and 2 Eden Cottage can be rented together as an impressive 5 bedroom cottage sleeping 12+2. For more privacy, the properties can be divided, sleeping 7 and 5+2 respectively. 5 additional properties each sleep 6+2.

The cottages are of an award-winning contemporary design and each offers an open plan living area with wooden floors, log burning stove, comfy sofas, fitted kitchen and a dining area. A mezzanine over the lounge is an ideal play area and (in all but 1 Eden Cottage) also houses a double sofa bed. Each cottage boasts its own hot tub – surely the best way to relax after a busy day. The views over the surrounding countryside are fabulous.

Outside, each cottage has a picnic table, barbecue, and chiminea – perfect for summer evenings. Younger guests will be happy to find a large outdoor play area, swing park and a woodland picnic area with teddy bear hunt.

The owners also provide that stair gates, socket covers, high chair, travel cot, children’s crockery and cutlery. There is even a selection of toys and games in each cottage.

This is a great area for wildlife and for those looking to get away from it all, there are plenty of country walks. Enjoy the magnificent views from Cairnpapple and Cockleroy Hill. Beecraigs Country Park in the Bathgate Hills is also a popular choice with its mountain bike trails, adventure play areas and miles of woodland walks.

Don’t miss a day out in Glasgow and Edinburgh - two very different cities, but both rich in history and culture. Linlithgow enjoys excellent railway links and there are frequent trains to both cities.

Linlithgow itself is ancient, with cobbled streets and quaint houses. Visit the brooding ruins of the magnificent C15th palace, birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots.

Anglers and golfers can take advantage of the discounts arranged by the owners with the golf course and fishery. The owners also offer jet ski trips on Loch Lomond or the River Forth.
