Mairi checked in with us during our holiday to ensure that everything was ok and even dropped off some home baked scones which were very much appreciated by us. The cottage is comfortable and well resourced with everything you need for a week away. The beach that is only a 20 minute walk away from the house is stunning and we enjoyed a walk to it most evenings while we were on Uist. We would definitely recommend Ar Dachaigh to anyone looking for a peaceful location and a base to tour from.

The owners went above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable stay. We found the house comfortable and would definitely recommend it to others. The hob proved tricky to cook on as the dials are all a little eccentric but we managed. We would look to stay again in the future when we visit Uist again.
