Lleiniog Cottage is a well-presented property in Anglesey, praised for its cleanliness, high-standard furnishings, and beautiful location. Guests enjoyed the proximity to Beaumaris and the beach, despite some accessibility issues. The cottage serves as a comfortable base for exploring, with a warm Welsh welcome noted. However, ongoing building work and some missing amenities were points of contention for several visitors.
Guests consistently described the cottage as clean and well-presented upon arrival, with fluffy towels and a tidy environment. No negative comments about cleanliness were noted.
The location is generally appreciated for its beauty and proximity to Beaumaris and the beach. However, some guests were disappointed with the accuracy of the location details and the presence of building work, which impacted the tranquility.
The property is considered cozy and beautifully furnished, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, some guests mentioned an uncomfortable double bed and issues with a lack of privacy due to clear glazing on the front door.
The cottage is equipped with necessary facilities and an EV charging point, but guests reported missing items like a teapot, bread knife, and cleaning products. The presence of building work and incomplete outdoor facilities slightly marred the experience.
There is insufficient information to assess thoughtfulness as there are no mentions of gifts or special touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, this score is set to null.

Beaumaris, a popular ancient town on Anglesey, sits on the Menai Strait and offers breathtaking views of the Snowdonia mountain range and its sunrises. It is a significant yachting hub and home to a number of historic landmarks, including a castle from the time of Edward I (now a World Heritage site), as well as a Victorian pier, jail, and courthouse. Historic Beaumaris still has several of its original mediaeval streets. The town's atmosphere, architectural variety, time periods, size ranges, open areas, roof types, and general quality all play significant roles in shaping its unique personality. There is a golf course in the area, as well as a variety of stores, restaurants, and bars in the town. There is a wide bay along the coast known as Red Wharf Bay; in Welsh, it is known as Traeth Coch (Red Beach), and it is famous for its breathtaking sunsets. Due to the bay's shallow depth, approximately 25 square kilometres (10 square miles) of sand are exposed during low tide, making it ideal for safe swimming, great for family outings, fishing, and miles of breathtaking scenic strolls. The port of Holyhead is further away, but it offers frequent ferry service to Dublin. Beaumaris is well situated on the south coast of the scenic Isle of Anglesey, making it a great central base from which to explore the rest of Wales.

There is free onsite parking, outdoor seating, beautiful outlook, good location for walks from the doorstep and a great base for those wishing to visit beautiful Anglesey and other nearby areas as we did, we had fantastic weather too which was perfect! We walked along the beach to Beaumauris a few times to see it's beautiful castle, individual shops, pubs and restaurants. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again.

Cottage is beautiful and well furnished. Kitchen is well finished but it was a tad disappointing to find no (kitchen) cleaning products or dishwasher tablets. A building site very adjacent to the cottage was a surprise , with an occasional rant / bad language being overheard. Once or twice a day we had a telehandler drive by with materials but on the whole the site didnât spoil our time at the cottage. ( I do think we ought to have been made aware of the site , as for some it might be a deal breaker) . Would we book again? Yes , definitely.

It's about the accuracy of the listing primarily, and the lack of sleep we had due to poor mattress and pillows. The cottage itself is contemporary and well presented, the towels were fluffy and large, it was clean on arrival - some minor maintenance issues, but nothing major. EV charging point was a God-send having just bought an electric vehicle. However, the main reason for booking was the claim that it was near a beach. That is absolutely not a beach that can be used in the same way as, for example, Newborough or Red Wharf Bay. More mud and rocks with two small patches of sand - one far too small to use near the car park and one inaccessible with a 9 year old. It was suggested we could walk 10 minutes up the lane - on a busy road with no pavements at either side - with a child, beach equipment and lunch!
