About this property

Nestling in idyllic countryside, Llety Llanfair is a delightful, hand-crafted shepherd’s hut which is located on a working farm near Y Felinheli in North Wales. Ideal for those who love the great outdoors, this is the perfect destination for an intimate, rural getaway. It is the captivating setting that makes Llety Llanfair so enticing with the surrounding countryside and woodlands offering a suitably rural backdrop. As you park up in the allocated parking space (with more parking available if you have visitors), you can feel the stress of everyday life just melting away as you walk into the enclosed gardens. In the summer, there is a strawberry patch here, just bursting with fresh strawberries for guests to enjoy and there are a number of hand-crafted seating areas and benches for visitors to be able to sit back, relax and immerse themselves in the enchanting environment. The wood-fired hot tub is the place to be with breath-taking views over to the Menai Straits. This is somewhere you can imagine spending lots of time during your break at Llety Llanfair and is a spot that offers unrivalled scenery come rain or shine. Pour yourself a glass of your favourite tipple and look forward to stepping into the warm waters and literally soaking your troubles away. If all that fresh air has helped build your appetite, then the alfresco theme continues with an outdoor kitchen area where can you wash and prepare food before firing up the barbecue and enjoying an evening of drinking and dining in the outdoors with the sounds of nature all around. There is also a small kitchen area inside the hut which has a two-ring electric hob and a fridge with an ice box and there is even space for a small breakfast bar and a couple of bar stools. If you need the bathroom, don’t worry you’ve got your own private outside bathroom with a walk-in shower, his and hers basins and a WC. When you’ve had enough of being outside you can fire up the electric stove-effect fire and get warm and toasty together before sinking into the inviting bed and dreaming of all the adventures to come. Llety Llanfair is in a magnificent spot close to a whole host of attractions and activities, so after a hearty breakfast, it’s time to head out. Y Felinheli is worth a visit with its very own attractive yachting marina and loads of activities and watersports on offer. Zip World is a must for any adrenaline junkies and of course, for keen walkers there is Snowdonia National Park and the Lyn Peninsula to explore. Take a day trip to nearby Anglesey for plenty of beaches, walks and cycle trails, historical sites and nature reserves as well as loads of popular pubs, restaurants, bars and bistros. For a memorable romantic break in a unique setting, Llety Llanfair is the ideal destination.
