Ffrwd Lodge is accessed up a private gravel driveway and features a wrap around decking, so you can enjoy panoramic views from every direction. The property sleeps six and is ideal for a family seeking a quaint countryside retreat, while also being within easy reach of the coast and main attractions of Anglesey, as well as the mainland and the Snowdonia National Park. Step up onto the decking and into the property to discover an open-plan living room with unusual wood panelled ceiling, with a cosy seating area where you can relax on one of two sofas in front of the Smart TV, enjoying your favourite Netflix shows, while the electric fire warms up the space. The dining table is the perfect place to gather the group together to enjoy a home-cooked meal, prepared in the well-equipped kitchen, which offers all of the appliances you could wish for, with a dishwasher to take care of any washing up. Rhosneigr is a seaside resort on the west coast of Anglesey, famous for its spectacular cliffs and magnificent sandy beaches, providing some of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing in the UK. There are several pubs, restaurants and shops in the village, with the market towns of Llangefni and Holyhead and the city of Bangor within easy reach. Close by are the attractions of Pili Palas Butterfly Farm, Anglesey Sea Zoo and Beaumaris Castle, Puffin Island, which is reachable by boat, and over on the mainland Llandudno offers excellent shopping, restaurants and a dry ski slope, while the Snowdonia National Park is also within easy reach.

It is very well equipped. The power shower in the en suite is marvellous! The views of the countryside all around the lodge are beautiful. We appreciated the Welsh cakes and delicious bara brith! The lodge is well situated for exploring the area, though Anglesey is easy to explore, wherever you stay. We were lucky with the weather and saw Rhosneigr beach in beautiful sunshine. We had a great week at Ffrwd Lodge, and would very happily stay again. Many thanks.

We had a fabulous stay. The lodge was reasonably clean few cobwebs here and there especially in the hallway and as stated the kitchen is well stocked however they is quite a few plates, bowls, cups and the tea pot with chips in, not a 100% hygienic using crockery with chunks missing. Also I would definitely get someone in to assess the main bathroom floor it's extremely soft under foot especially along the side of the bath, little unnerving when kneeling down to bath a toddler. Finally I would like to add from a safety point of view I'd look into having a convexed mirror put up opposite the driveway, we was very nearly taken out by a car bombing down the lane the entrance sits in quite a blind spot so you have to edge your way out to see if it's clear. Overall though it was hands down one of the nicest places we have stayed, we loved waking up and seeing cows in the next field, the property has a nice flow to it it was light, airy and very comfortable. We had a lovely week and we would happily book it again on the future. Thank you very much xx

Great for watching the planes from the raf base. Itâs spacious for a lodge and the shower was great, enclosed small garden which was perfect for the dog and veranda to relax on. However, itâs tired and needs some attention. On arrival it was tidy, but not cleaned properly. The garden was overgrown and outside space covered in cobwebs. Sykes assistance and communication regarding our concerns was poor and after initially saying they would rectify this, it didnât materialise, we had to clean inside and out (inc mowing the lawn) before feeling it was a standard we could use it. The property itself was positioned well where we could easily access the island. Wifi at the property is sketchy. Comfy sofas in the lounge for chilling after a day at the beach.
