There are lots of gorgeous walks close by and the coastal walk was stunning! We will definitely be back. Thank you both for a lovely stay :)

Lodge had everything you would need, only missing a washing machine. There wasn’t really anywhere for the dogs to do their business, as every single piece of grass was fenced off. Did also feel a little bit watched, with the owners being directly behind and above the lodge. We received a text to put the lid on the hot tub whilst my partner was using it, which did feel a little intrusive. Also never stayed anywhere where there has been a lot of instructions on departure, including stripping the bed sheets and putting them in a bag. Just felt like the guests are expected to do a lot to avoid as much being done before the next guests arrive, especially when we had to leave by 10am. We were woken up a couple of mornings around 7.30am, with what sounded like building works, which could have waited until 9am knowing guests are next door. But overall very nice stay, would recommend as it is in such a lovely area, but maybe without dogs.
