Bwthyn Glanrhyd is a well-regarded cottage praised for its stunning location, comfortable accommodation, and the added excitement of nearby RAF jets. Guests appreciate the clean, cosy interiors, the enclosed garden, and the property's seclusion. The panoramic views and access to the beach are highlights, with many planning return visits.
Most guests found the cottage clean and cosy, with only a few mentioning areas where dust and cleanliness could be improved. The overall impression is that the property is well-maintained, although attention to detail could enhance the experience.
The location is highly praised for its amazing views, privacy, and proximity to the beach and coastal paths. The excitement of RAF jets is a unique feature that many guests enjoyed, although it may not be to everyone's taste.
Guests generally find the cottage comfortable and well-equipped, with cosy furnishings and a warm atmosphere. Some suggestions for additional amenities like parasols and non-slip mats indicate room for improvement.
The cottage is considered well-equipped by most, but there are comments on maintenance issues such as shower temperature, towel rail functionality, and internet connectivity. The access road condition and waste disposal were also noted as areas for improvement.
While guests have mentioned the thoughtfulness of having Welsh cakes and milk provided, there is not enough consistent information about gifts or additional thoughtful touches to accurately score this category.

There are stunning views across the water, that take in Holy Island, so you’re sure to have a wonderful outlook no matter the weather or time of year. They could also do with a few more Kitchen utensils, eg. Salad tongs or similar, knife sharpener. Apart from that, we had a wonderful stay, was very clean, and well maintainedâ¦and the views were incredibleâ¦we had fantastic weather which always helps.

The RAF training air show was an added bonus. 40 minutes walk into valley, we even power walked back in 30 minutes. Only criticism is the late check in of 5 pm why canât we go back to pre Covid and check in be 3pm.

Homely, clean tidy spacious etc etc. Beach on doorstep and secluded away. This is our 5th time here. Beautiful garden with lots of wildlife and the Jets from Valley going over head which I love. Not a nuisance though. So excited as we have booked for Christmas and booked for next years holiday too. Xx Julie and Paul and Casper
