Guests say

Cae Glas is a well-received cottage in Anglesey, praised for its spaciousness, cleanliness, and central location ideal for exploring the island. Guests appreciate the warm welcome, including thoughtful touches like Welsh cakes. The property offers comfortable accommodation with large rooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The private garden and games room add to the enjoyment, despite some mentions of creaky floorboards.

Guests consistently describe the property as very clean and well-maintained, with several reviews highlighting the immaculate condition of the cottage upon arrival.

The central position of Cae Glas is frequently commended for its convenience in exploring Anglesey, with easy access to local amenities and attractions. The peaceful and private setting is also noted, although one mention of occasional aircraft noise slightly impacts the score.

The cottage is repeatedly referred to as cosy and comfortable, with large rooms and comfy chairs. The presence of a warm range and secure garden contribute to the comfort. However, the mention of creaky floorboards and overly warm upstairs rooms during summer slightly lowers the score.

Facilities such as a well-equipped kitchen, games room, and constant hot water are appreciated by guests. The range cooker is a highlight, though some guests required assistance to use it, and the creaky floorboards are noted as a minor inconvenience.

Many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful gestures by the owners, such as leaving Welsh cakes and milk, and returning forgotten items. It is politely noted that while such gestures are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

It's very spacious and accommodating, and the owners made us feel very welcome with some special touches on our arrival. Situated in a quiet spot, yet not far from shops and a good pub - Tafarn Y Rhos - this gave use the ideal solitude and rest we were hoping for. The additional bonus of the red squirrel visiting the garden was a delight too!

The cottage was nice and warm and spacious (the photos made it look smaller). Gareth and Elena were very friendly and helpful when we had a problem with the shower (not helped by me misunderstanding the simple fix!). We had mixed weather but still managed to get out and about and visit a lot of the island and enjoy the stunning beaches, see some wildlife (including Red Squirrels, one of which visited the cottage), and enjoy some great starry nights! The cottage is in a great location for visiting the island but also for nearby Llangefni and its shops. It is also well equipped, especially as we did a lot of cooking. We must also mention the table tennis and darts as these were a great distraction for the children (and adults!)

Cottage had everything we could have needed. The garage with table tennis and darts was great for the kids and enjoyed being able play on the lawn and the nice little bbq we made use of. Being located centrally on the island means you are only ever 20 mins away from a glorious beach. We were so lucky with the weather. Owners gave us some Welsh cakes and milk for arrival which was a nice touch and were on hand if we needed them. Many thanks.
