Guests say

Swallow Cottage in Llanerchymedd is praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and stunning, peaceful location. Guests appreciate the friendly hosts and the property's proximity to local attractions. The cottage is ideal for both relaxation and exploring Anglesey, with many mentioning a desire to return.

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting its immaculate condition.

The location is celebrated for its beauty and tranquillity, with easy access to local beaches and attractions. The scenic surroundings are a consistent point of praise.

Comfort is generally well-regarded, with mentions of comfortable beds and seating areas. However, one review notes an uncomfortable bed and saggy chairs, slightly lowering the score.

Facilities are mostly appreciated, especially the well-equipped kitchen. However, the mention of intermittent WiFi and an issue with the provision of logs for the fire suggests room for improvement.

While the host is frequently described as friendly and helpful, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would fall under 'thoughtfulness'. Therefore, this score is set to null.

About this property

A country cottage on Anglesey, with high vaulted and beamed ceilings and a wood burning stove, set in extensive grounds with a complementary course fishing lake.

We had the best holiday! In fact my son said it was the best holiday he'd ever had! The owners were wonderful, there if you needed them without being intrusive. My husband went fishing every day. Even the dog thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. It's a perfect location, quiet but close to so many places. A week wasn't long enough, so we'll definitely be back to Swallow Cottage! I can't recommend it more, you won't regret staying here.

Fantastic place to stay beautiful cottage and grounds nice and quiet and easy reach of places of interest. Great friendly owner easy to chat to without being in your face. This in my mind was 10 out of 10. Definitely go again.
