The enclosed garden and thoughtful touches, such as a welcome pack, contribute to a homely feel, making it a favoured choice for families and those seeking a tranquil retreat.
Guests frequently mention the property's spotless condition and the fresh, clean atmosphere upon arrival. One review noted a minor issue with cobwebs and missed corners, but this appears to be an isolated comment amidst overwhelming positivity regarding cleanliness.
The cottage's location is often described as peaceful and good for accessing the island's attractions, though it requires a car due to its rural setting. Some guests found the remoteness and quietness ideal, while others noted the distance to amenities as a consideration.
Comfort is a standout feature, with numerous reviews highlighting the cosy sofas, comfortable beds, and quiet, dark nights. The presence of two bathrooms and child-friendly amenities also contribute to the overall comfort experienced by guests.
The property is consistently praised for being well-equipped and maintained, with a high standard of finish. Guests appreciate the modern conveniences such as Smart TV and reliable wifi. Some minor suggestions for improvements were made, but these do not detract significantly from the overall high regard for the facilities.
The owners' thoughtfulness is evident in the welcome packs mentioned by guests, which include items like milk, biscuits, and cakes. While these gestures are warmly received and add to the welcoming atmosphere, it is politely noted that such gifts, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.
