We loved our stay so much, the children loved feeding the ducks, exploring the grounds and visiting multiple beaches that were only ever 10 mins drive away. We can’t wait to visit and stay at The Smithy again!

Owners very friendly and helpful, and we loved the resident ducks! Despite a rather wet week, we managed to get out and about exploring the island. Wonderful wildlife including Red Squirrels and a wide variety of birds, making it a peaceful and enjoyable break that we would highly recommend.

The cottage is gorgeous, it has everything you could need, beds are super comfy, gardens and views are really beautiful and peaceful. The owners, Helen and Rick were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay the best. My daughter is autistic and loved the peaceful location. Helen recommended a quiet beach for her which was fab. Absolutely would recommend staying here to families, we will be returning soon.
