Frongoch Cottage in Pentraeth, Anglesey, is consistently praised for its stunning sea views, cleanliness, and welcoming hosts. Guests enjoy the comfortable beds and the cosy atmosphere, particularly during stormy weather. The large garden and the presence of a friendly sheepdog add to the charm. While some guests mention the lack of a washing machine and limited wardrobe space, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many expressing a desire to return.
Reviews frequently highlight the cottage's spotless condition, indicating a high standard of cleanliness that contributes positively to the guests' experience.
The property boasts stunning sea views and serves as a great base for exploring the island, with proximity to various bays and walks, making its location highly appreciated by guests.
The cottage is described as cosy and comfortable, with comfy beds and a warm atmosphere. However, some guests suggest improvements in heating and wardrobe space.
The well-equipped cottage meets most guests' needs, but the absence of a washing machine and the suggestion for additional heating options indicate room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
While guests feel very welcome and mention the friendliness of the hosts, there is no specific mention of gifts, and therefore it is not possible to assess the level of thoughtfulness in terms of gifts.

Pentraeth is a small attractive village on the banks of the River Nodwydd on the north-east coast of Anglesey. It has a village church that dates back to the 12th century and is located between Llanddona beach and Red Wharf Bay, which has over 4.5 miles of sandy beach. Red Wharf Bay’s Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and provides safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. The large bay attracts a huge number of waterfowl and wading birds, including shell duck, grey plover, purple sandpipers, curlew, oystercatchers and dunlin. Only 6 miles away is the delightful medieval town of Beaumaris which boasts a 13th century moated castle, excellent shops, pubs, restaurants, bistros and museums, as well as a golf course and exciting pleasure boat and sea fishing trips. Very well equipped. Only problem is. Cottage style very steep staircase. Brenda is very welcoming and helpful. A quiet corner of beauty with great walks from the doorstep, yet not too remote or isolated.

This has to be one of the best cottages we have stayed in. The cottage is very comfortable with everything you could wish for. It was lovely to be able to sit in the large garden and survey the green countryside and watch the sheep grazing in the field. Brenda the host was a delight and very friendly and could not have done anymore for us than she did. We would recommend this cottage to everyone wishing to stay in Anglesey

The Cottage is located next to the owners small holding and served as a great base for exploring the island, The property is modern and very clean , the stairs up to the bedrooms are at a quite step angle ( good workout for the legs .Lol) . 2 large bedrooms and a modern well lite bathroom with a shower over the bath. Lovely, warm and refreshing after a days walking. The only minor criticism and I think it's been mentioned before is the lack of wardrobe space. If the 2 vanity dressing tables could be replaced with wardrobes this would be so much better. Kitchen is well stocked . Overall a great cottage and we had fantastic weather for our stay.
