Guests enjoyed the beautiful garden, hot tub, and nearby attractions, including beaches and dolphin watching. The property is ideal for families and pets, offering a relaxing and homely atmosphere.
The cottage received high commendations for cleanliness, with guests noting it as 'beautifully clean'. No negative comments on cleanliness suggest a very high standard.
The location is described as ideal and peaceful, with proximity to beaches and nature. The scenic drives and sunset views at New Quay Harbour were highlights, indicating a very favourable location.
Comfort is consistently praised, with mentions of good beds, a comfortable sofa, and a homely feel. The property seems to cater well to relaxation and family needs.
Facilities like the hot tub are popular, though there is a suggestion for more privacy around it. The well-equipped kitchen and doggy area add to the positive feedback, but the mention of upcoming improvements suggests there is room for enhancement.

Garden View is an attractive, semi-detached cottage, opposite the owner's home, is surrounded by tranquil countryside, on the outskirts of Llanybydder in West Wales. Garden View is a wonderful, contemporary property for a couple or small family looking for a Welsh rural retreat to Carmarthenshire. Step into the property to be greeted by a well thought out, open-plan living room, which makes the most of the space, with lovely dark wood flooring and a neutral colour scheme with splashes of grey and mustard. The sitting room offers a corner sofa that the whole group can relax on while enjoying the view of the garden from the patio door or being entertained by something on the TV, while the dining table can comfortably seat the whole group and you can enjoy delicious meals together, prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. The property has two contemporary bathrooms to choose from; a ground-floor shower room and a first-floor family bathroom with bath and handheld shower, so there shouldn't be any queues in the mornings, while upstairs you will also find the two bedrooms, which include a master king-size with stunning original beams, a TV and Juliet balcony, overlooking the garden and surrounding countryside, as well as a spacious twin, which would be ideal for younger guests. Outside, you will find off-road parking for one car, as well as an enclosed patio garden with picnic bench and barbecue, so you can take full advantage of the good weather and dine alfresco, as well as a separate private hot tub area, sure to add a luxurious touch to your stay and the perfect way to round off the day. There's even an enclosed dog exercise area, where your pets can run safely and freely. Note: This property can be booked with ref. 1156658, sleeping up to six guests.
A small market town straddling the River Teifi, Llanybydder is a typical old Welsh town with a small selection of shops, including a Post Office, bakers and farmers co-operative, and a few pubs and eating places scattered throughout its streets. It is the focal point for the surrounding farmers, and regularly holds horse sales. The countryside is perfect for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers alike. Set on the border between Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion, Llanybydder is perfectly positioned to travel to the county town of Carmarthen with its busy shopping centre, with small individual quirky shops and the well-known high street stores, Merlin's Hill Centre and even a steam railway. The superb coastline of both south and west Wales is within 20 miles for great seaside days and coastal walks on the world renowned Welsh coastal path. An excellent central location to enjoy the south west of Wales.
