If you’re looking for some traditional seaside fun, pack up a picnic and head to Borth Beach (12 miles) – a popular spot for swimming, surfing, fishing, sailing and windsurfing. Alternatively, witness the daily feeding of spectacular red kites at Nant Yr Arian Red Kite Feeding Centre (9.5 miles), or take a historic ride on the Vale of Rheidol Railway (6 miles), a beautiful narrow-gauge steam railway that runs from Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge.
