Llanarth 1.1 miles. The Hideout, a delightful holiday lodge, is located in the pretty hamlet of Gilfachreda, near to Llanarth. Situated in the popular, pet-friendly Woodlands Park Resort, a short drive from the picturesque seaside resort of New Quay and the lovely Georgian harbourside village of Aberaeron, this lodge sleeps four and is perfect for families and small groups wishing for a lovely seaside holiday. Step inside to a stylish open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, where you'll be whipping up your favourite recipes to enjoy around the dining table and a nicely-decorated sitting area with plush sofas for you to sink into as you put on your favourite shows and movies on the Smart TV. On warmer evenings, enjoy your dinners or a glass of wine out on the furnished, decked veranda as you watch the sun slip underneath the surrounding trees and lodges. As the day gets darker and cooler, unwind with a hot bath or shower in either en-suites, then dive under the soft linens to catch your rest and get ready for another day of adventures. The park has a lovely woodland trail for you to wander or follow the River Llethi as it meanders through the park to Cei Bach Beach where at low tide you can reach the pretty harbourside town of New Quay. Head to the nearby village of Llanarth to stock up on some essentials or when you don't feel like cooking, go to Llanina Arms Hotel pub for a deliciously hearty meal. In the stunning coastal town of New Quay, you'll find a collection of boutiques where you can buy a variety of souvenirs and trinkets, head to New Quay Boat Trips where you can sail along New Quay Bay and spot some dolphins, seals and other sea life, and if you'd like a more relaxing activity, lie on the sand and bask in the sunshine at New Quay Beach. For a taste of history drive down to the lively town of Cardigan and visit the 12th-century riverside Cardigan Castle, go and take some picture at the ruins of St Dogmaels Abbey, and don't forget to check out the National Trust's Cilgerran Castle, a 13th-century built medieval fortress. Try your hand at some outdoor activities like rafting, kayaking and bushcrafting at Cardigan Bay Active, then end the day with a family dinner at Pizzatipi, a waterfront pizzeria. The Hideout offers a range of activities and fun for everyone.

The popular Welsh village of Llanarth is situated close to the Cardigan Bay coast, offering a welcoming pub and a shop, which although small, is very well stocked, and a farm shop/butcher selling local produce. Llanarth is located on the main A487 coast road, which opens up numerable options and places to visit. Just a short drive away are various beaches, fishing lakes and the regency harbour town of Aberaeron, along with wonderful walks and cycle routes that are easily accessible. The popular beachside harbour town of New Quay is just 3 miles away, where you will find a traditional seaside feel and perhaps the chance to buy the day's catch. Lovely shops, tea rooms, ice cream parlours, fish and chip shops, dolphin watching and boat rides can all be enjoyed in New Quay. With the picturesque Cardigan coastline and the inland beauty of the Cambrian Mountains and Preselli Hills, this is a perfect location for any type of holiday you’re looking for.

Lots to do just locally, pubs, shops close by too. Very clean and comfortable stay. Everything you need is provided in the lodge from cooking pots, utensils, dishwasher, TV in the bedrooms and ensuite showers. Lots of outdoor seating is also available. Perfect!

Owners were very efficient and helpful. Sadly our Jack Russell of 19 years passed the day before, it would have been his holiday too, fabulous place for dogs. Onsite there is a walk into the woods but we did not get chance to do the walk, next time though!!! The break was just what we needed. The site is so tranquil and not to far away from pubs, restaurants and a beautiful beach which when the tide is out you can walk to New Quay which is a lovely quaint harbour. Recommend The Moody Cow for food and also best chippy ever called the Lime Crab, definitely worth a visit. We didn't get chance to eat anywhere else but the whole place was superb! We will definitely be back for sure! Big thanks to the owners! Gill & Dave from Bury, Greater Manchester

The Hideout is immaculate. A short drive to New Quay and Aberaeron where The Hive honey ice cream Mr Whippy style is delicious.
