The lodge is praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and comfort. Hosts Terry and Louise receive commendations for their warm welcome and respect for guest privacy. The property is dog-friendly, with secure grounds for pets to enjoy. While most reviews are glowing, there is a single mention of a hot tub cleanliness issue, which seems to be an isolated incident.

The lodge receives high praise for its cleanliness, with multiple guests noting the spotless condition upon arrival. One review mentioned an issue with the hot tub's cleanliness, but this appears to be an exception rather than the norm.

The garden was secure, ideal for our dog to wander around without the worry of her escaping. The Lodge was extremely clean and very cosy, everything you could possibly need was supplied, plenty of kitchen equipment ,towels etc. The welcome pack was delicious

Bonus of better weather this time. Such a comfortable & well equipped lodge. Very dog friendly, with just the biggest secure garden for dogs to enjoy. Owner are both so friendly & helpful. Would definitely recommend. We will return!!

The lodge itself was exceptionally clean especially for a dog friendly property, The bed in the main bedroom is huge and super comfy the only problem we found was due to the size of the bed there was little room to store clothes there is however a hanging rail in the cupboard so could easily be rectified by either bringing your own hangers of there being more at the property. The kitchen was very well equipped, we cooked a few times but also had a couple of take aways and a meal out at The Bunch Of Grapes which was a short 10 minute drive - We would recommend a visit, they are very friendly and the food was perfect. We were welcomed by a lovely welcome pack including bits for our dog which was a lovely touch. You can tell that Louise and Terry welcome feedback because things raised in previous feedback have been improved for example there is now a bell they ring prior to coming in to check the hot tub. We felt very respected by Louise and Terry, we were left to enjoy our holiday without interruption however on the occasions we did bump into them we had chit chat which was nice too, I felt they were great hosts for sure. Finally the garden/grounds are also very well kept, the garden is very safe for dogs, we loved the boarder of wild flowers around the edge of the garden too. On route in and out of the property we enjoyed seeing the birds, sheep, chickens, rabbits and squirrels too. It really was a beautiful lodge in a great location on lovely grounds owned by the nicest of hosts.
