Guests say

Belvedere is a well-received cottage in New Quay, praised for its proximity to the beach and town, comfortable furnishings, and additional features like a games room. Guests appreciate the clean, well-equipped property and its suitability for families and pets, though some noted the kitchen could be better equipped for large groups and the fridge size was a minor concern.

Guests consistently mention the property being very clean, indicating high standards of cleanliness throughout the cottage.

The location is generally well-regarded due to its short walk to the beach and New Quay. However, one review mentioned a misleading sea view, slightly impacting the score.

Reviews highlight the comfortable beds and spacious rooms, suggesting a high level of comfort. A single complaint about a noisy saniflo system slightly affects the score.

Facilities like the games room are praised, but some guests felt the kitchen was not fully equipped for a large family, and concerns about the fridge size and lack of cooking equipment are noted.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so it is not possible to assess this category.

Overall our weeks stay was really good, unfortunately we arrived to mould all over the bathroom but was resolved and addressed as soon as. Neighbours were lovely people and friendly at informing us of any issues that happened such as when the water turned off, we were informed :) The beds were comfy to sleep in so had a lot of rest, it’s only a short walk to the beach and to the town where the small shops are and pubs.

Belvedere is a fine old house in a lovely part of Wales. With views at the back overlooking Cardigan bay and New key harbour (a short walk from the house). The rooms and beds are comfortable and spacious. We had a small issue with the heating when we first arrived but this was quickly resolved. The games room in the garden is great for rainy days or evenings.
