Corner Cottage in Swansea is appreciated for its excellent location as a base for exploring the Gower, with a charming village setting and proximity to beaches. Guests find the property cosy and well-equipped, particularly the kitchen and dining area. The cottage's character and the local pub add to the positive experience, despite some concerns over maintenance and comfort.
Most guests found the cottage clean, though there were mentions of mould, dampness, and a need for redecoration in some areas. The overall impression suggests good cleanliness with room for improvement.
The location is highly praised for its convenience to the Gower Peninsula and local amenities. The picturesque village and nearby pub are frequently mentioned positives, although the busy road and parking difficulties are noted.
Comfort receives mixed reviews. While some guests found the cottage cosy and the beds comfortable, others reported issues with bed quality, particularly in the loft area, and some furniture causing discomfort.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and entertainment options. However, maintenance issues such as problematic heating, a broken boiler, and minor repairs detract from the overall score.
There is insufficient information to score thoughtfulness accurately. While some guests mentioned the lack of a welcome pack, it is not clear if this is a standard offering or an oversight. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

The small winding roads & sheep grazing outside add to the charm. The cottage is well equipped for cooking & family life. We didnât use the bonus bedroom but can imagine it being a lot of fun for tweens & teens. With a preschooler in tow we appreciated the family friendly loo seats and large bath. We would highly recommend the village pub as well as visiting some of the smaller bays nearby.

It has everything you could need. It felt very homely with a comfortable bed, we loved the village. It's situated in a great location to explore the beautiful Gower Peninsula. Hope to return one day.
