Guests say

Fairhaven Court is praised for its excellent location near the beach and coastal paths, offering superb views and easy access to local attractions. Guests appreciate the light, airy accommodation with comfortable furnishings, though some noted areas for improvement in maintenance and facilities.

Most guests found the property clean and well-equipped. However, one review mentioned a dirty balcony and windows, which lowers the score.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and coastal walks, with easy parking and access to Mumbles. It's considered ideal for beach lovers and walkers.

The rooms are described as comfortable and well-furnished, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, some guests found the bedroom dark and the sofa bed uncomfortable.

The property is generally well-equipped, but some guests reported issues with maintenance, such as lighting problems and heating control. The lack of recycling facilities and kitchen supplies was also noted.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so this score cannot be provided.

Large lounge & compact kitchen. Equipment, you can get by on, but there could be some utensils to make it more user friendly. The bed was comfortable, but bed settee/sofa was very uncomfortable, so not suitable to sleep on.

Absolutely fantastic location - the balcony really does overlook the bay and it is a short walk to the other, bigger beach. The walk into Mumbles is doable (maybe 20 minutes?) but a bit of a workout because it's such a hilly route. It's also incredibly close to the coastal path with its stunning views. The skylights in the kitchen and bathroom offer lots of natural light and ventilation in those rooms. There is a pole to open and close them. The bedroom is quite dark but not enough to be a problem. The furniture isn't very comfy but we were there to swim and walk, not to sit around! I'm guessing the sofabed is one of those ones that is more comfortable as a bed than as a sofa, but we didn't need to use it as a bed. My two biggest criticisms: 1. The lack of recycling facilities. There is just one black bin for everything. We took our recycling home but we shouldn't have had to do this. 2. The lack of kitchen/cleaning supplies. The kitchen just had one nearly-empty bottle of washing-up liquid and a used sponge. The blurb warns you to bring your own teatowels (why?) but it didn't warn us we'd also need to bring washing-up liquid, a new sponge, cleaning cloths and a spray, kitchen roll, tinfoil, etc. It's annoying having to go out and buy all this stuff when you've got loads at home! Overall, great value for money and what a brilliant location. Would definitely book again.
