Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is unquestionably well-known around the world for its historical and architectural legacy, yet the centre of the town is a hive of busy activity. There are numerous specialised stores, eateries, and motels in addition to its traditional festivals and fairs, musical performances, galleries, and tourist attractions. Conwy Castle, which was constructed for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, is still regarded as one of the finest examples of mediaeval military construction. The castle's unusual, elongated shape—complete with two barbicans, eight enormous towers, and a large bow-shaped hall—was likely influenced by the castle's location on a small rocky outcrop.

Cosy and pleasant cottage. Biggest gripe concerns parking. Listing says "Designated parking for 1 car to the front" - this is not true. You can park in front of the house, but so can anyone else. We fortunately were able to park when we arrived and unloaded and also when we left and loaded up, but at other times needed to use car park. Please change listing. Also, please set up smart TV correctly as internet connection unreliable.

Check in was easy and good to have the description of the narrow streets in advance. The cottage was cosy and comfortable with everything that you need.

A great location for all that Conwy has to offer. The cottage has a lovely kitchen with everything you need to cook if you wanted a night in and a cosy sitting area with a log fire. We had good weather, didn’t need fire but when we arrived it was a little chilly but electric wall heaters very good they soon warmed us up. The cottage has a large comfy bed, it is quite low. Wasn’t a problem though and the owners do make it clear in summery of property. Great bathroom, shower also has steam facility. Communication with owners excellent, very easy to get hold of if needed. In all a really lovely holiday, will definitely return in the future.
