This well-presented, first-floor apartment rests above the owners coffee shop in the heart of the bustling town of Conwy, overlooking the high street and catching a glimpse of the distant sea. Presented as one large room, this apartment has been tastefully decorated for a couple looking to really make the most of this wonderful town and the idyllic North Wales coastline. The apartment comes with a small, fitted kitchen where you can prepare your meals, or choose to dine out at one of the numerous restaurants, pubs or cafes just a short stroll from the accommodation. As your evening draws to a close, retire to the inviting king-size double bed for a well-deserved sleep, with a wall-mounted TV for entertainment. Discover the shower room, finished with contemporary tiling and a large walk-in shower so you can prepare for the day in style. Conwy boasts a fine selection of independent shops, but after you’ve ticked off your shopping list, discover more about the ancient history of the town by visiting the imposing castle and historic walls, a medieval fortification built by Edward I. The town is also proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs, including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October if you are lucky enough to visit them. Nearby there are plenty of delightful walks including the North Wales Path which runs through the town, as well as paths through the attractive Sychnant Pass to the 120ft drop of the Aber waterfall and on into Capelulo. This cosy hideaway is a lovely break for couples wanting to enjoy all that North Wales has to offer.
Conwy boasts a hub of bustling activity, alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions, as well as an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. This town is the perfect base for exploring the Snowdonia National Park, the Llechwedd Slate Caverns, which has the longest zip wire in Europe, and Surf Snowdonia, just six miles away.
