Guests say

Guests consistently praise the cottage for its prime location within Conwy, cleanliness, and cosy comfort. The property's thoughtful touches, such as welcome packs and festive decorations, have been well-received. While there is a mention of a damp smell and limited hot water, these seem to be isolated incidents, with the overall experience being highly positive.

Reviewers frequently commend the cottage for its cleanliness, describing it as spotless and well-maintained. There is a single mention of an unpleasant smell, but this appears to be an exception rather than the rule.

The location is highly praised for being central, within the castle walls, and close to local amenities and transport links, making it an ideal base for exploring Conwy and the surrounding areas.

The cottage is repeatedly described as cosy, comfortable, and beautifully furnished, with comfortable beds and a homely feel. The presence of a roof terrace and the quality of the renovation contribute to the comfort score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the property being described as well-equipped. However, there are comments about the lack of a washing machine for longer stays and limited hot water, which slightly affect the score.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful extras, such as welcome packs and seasonal decorations. While these are mentioned positively, it is noted that such gifts are a delightful bonus and may vary with each stay.

Conwy Castle is a must-see for any visitor and is one of the most well-preserved medieval castles in Europe. The Smallest House in Great Britain is also located in Conwy and is well worth a visit for its quirkiness factor. For those looking to enjoy the great outdoors, Conwy Caernarvonshire Golf Club is the perfect spot to tee off. In the evening, Mulberry, Conwy Marina, and Castle View are all great places to enjoy a drink or a meal with stunning views of the castle. A scenic drive will lead you to Llandudno, a unique seaside town in Wales with attractions that appeal to all ages. Pier, the Great Orme Country Park, Llandudno Tram Way and the Bronze Mine are just some of the must-see attractions in Llandudno. Shop, dine and enjoy the views from the top of the Great Orme, or take in a show at the Llandudno Pier Pavilion Theatre. Be sure to explore Betws-y-Coed, meaning "house in the woods", a picturesque village located in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. Visitors can enjoy beautiful hikes and walks in the park, stunning waterfalls, and plenty of outdoor activities. For all this and more, escape to 7 Watkin Street.

Conwy, a unesco World History Site, is unquestionably famed for its historical and architectural heritage, yet the town's centre is a hive of activity. There are a variety of specialty stores, restaurants, and motels in addition to the ancient festivals and fairs, musical concerts, galleries, and historical sights. Conwy Castle, designed by Master James of St George and built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, is one of the most spectacular examples of mediaeval military architecture. The narrow rocky ledge on which the castle rests may have influenced its peculiar, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight huge towers, and a magnificent bow-shaped hall.

Located in a great place to get all over Conwy, a helpful welcome pack left to give us some tips about the area. My children loved the little terrace and the beds were so comfortable and the bedding pristine. The added touches of dressing gowns and easy access appliances you don’t always find in a holiday home was so helpful, especially the hoover, with three little ones their always crumbs

Fantastic facilities and felt like you were properly thought of and looked after. Only tiny problem that I think the previous people had a problem with was a rotten smell in the place, hopefully it gets sorted soon because everything else was fantastic.
