Betws-y-Coed 10 miles. This detached stone-built cottage is located within the village of Pentrefoelas, near the town of Betws-y- Coed in North Wales and is well known as the Gateway to Snowdonia. With stunning views of Snowdonia, this cottage is ideal for families and groups of 12 that enjoy hiking in the countryside. There is easy access to the cottage and within, including wheelchair accessibility. There are a total of six beautiful bedrooms across two floors, including pretty beamed ceilings. This property provides a well-equipped kitchen/diner perfect for cooking your meals while you're there. There are two superb cosy sitting rooms with Freeview TVs (main lounge has Smart TV) and woodburning stoves to keep you warm throughout your stay. There is a large dining table in the main sitting room with seating for ten to twelve. This sitting rooms also has a CD player and record player with a large collection of CDs and records. There are two Bose players and an iPod MP3 player. The second siting room is also a games room with a football table, pool table and snug area for the family to relax. There is a TV in the kitchen and a TV/DVD player in one of the bedrooms which can be moved around into any of the other bedrooms if required (there are TV aerial points in every bedroom). The owner was in touch before and nothing was to much trouble. The location is spectacular and facilities are superb, lots of room , family loved the games room and the kitchen and bedrooms are brilliant. First time we have done a family weekend and we are now definitely doing it again, i would recommend this to anyone. John and Sue

Very quiet and peaceful, just what you need from time to time when we lead such busy lives! Suburb location for exploring North Wales. Brenig and Alwen reservoirs are so majestic, well worth a visit (20 minutes away) Further a field, Anglesey is magical. From the Menai Bridge to Trearddur bay, itâs full of Welsh culture, amazing!

EV charger a blessing! Fitted large family of 8 plus a toddler with ease and the games room would have been a lifesaver if the weather had not been fabulous but well used anyway. Easy check-in and Ian made us feel most welcome with great local knowledge.
