Nestled equally between Abergele and Colwyn Bay, in a semi-rural location in the village of Llysfaen, is this superb, semi-detached property. Ty Gwyn Cottage has been designed to a superb standard, combining contemporary features while keeping with the character of the property, offering an exceptional escape for families and friends. After parking up in the off-road parking space, take a moment to admire the picturesque country views across the valley before getting to know your new home-from-home. Discover the spacious yet cosy lounge, enhanced with ample seating, a stonewall and a contemporary woodburner, making it a delightful spot to unwind following a day of rambling; gaze out the floor to ceiling windows to the surrounding countryside or tune into the Smart TV and catch up on your favourite shows. Watch the oak flooring transition into flagstone flooring in the kitchen/diner, a contemporary space with an assortment of appliances, including a commanding range style cooker, fridge/freezer and granite worktops; budding chefs are sure to be pleased with this setup. Off the kitchen is a separate utility room with washer/dryer and a shower room where you can wash any muddy attire and prepare for the day. Make your way upstairs to the master bedroom, featuring high vaulted ceilings and large windows which overlook the rural scenery and capture glorious sunrises, plus there is a small Juliette balcony if you wish to open the doors and breath in the fresh air in the morning. The remaining bedrooms continue this superb standard, each offering king-size beds and one boasting an en-suite shower room with rainfall shower. On a warm evening, dine alfresco style upon the patio furniture, while on colder nights take advantage of the quirky garden room, complete with a bar, soft seating and an alluring woodburning stove. While here, take a stroll along the promenade, taking you all the way from the town over to Rhos on Sea, where you will be met by a glorious stretch of golden sand, a heated outdoor paddling pool and an abundance of waterside eateries where you can celebrate a special occasion at. For days out, immerse yourself in the history of Conwy Castle, enjoy the thrills of fairground rides at Llandudno Pier or take on the world’s fastest zip-line at Zip World Llechwedd. The elegant coastal resort of Colwyn Bay has a lot to offer visitors of all ages, including sandy beaches, a promenade, a large park with a skateboard section, a leisure centre and bowling green, the Welsh Mountain Zoo, Eirias Park, a leisure centre, a theatre/cinema, numerous shops, pubs and restaurants (one on the seafront near the watersports centre is owned by celebrity chef Bryn Williams, who also owns Odette's Colwyn Bay is an excellent visiting base because it is close to the various and varied sights of North Wales. It also hosts a number of annual events, such as the Triathlon, the Forties Festival, and the Prom Xtra. The Victorian Extravaganza, which takes place every year in Llandudno, is not far away. Virgin Trains take approximately 2 hours 45 minutes to travel directly from London Euston to Colwyn Bay, stopping at Milton Keynes Central, Crewe, and Chester.

    Very well maintained. So many lovely windows really made the most of the beautiful views. A very well equipt kitchen making it a home and home. We highly recommend this property and would love to visit again in the future.
