Guests appreciate the property's central yet quiet location, proximity to shops and the promenade, and the convenience of keyless entry. Asda is just a stones throw and the main shopping area is at the end of the road. The off street parking at the back of the house was also helpful (slightly annoying though that you have to lock the back door from the inside and dash around via the street in the rain to your car!) The sitting room and a snug is nice when some want to watch a film and others can chat in a separate room. It would indeed be helpful (as others have mentioned) to have a downstairs WC - moving the washing machine from under the stairs and using the locked storage cupboard space next to it for this purpose might be a consideration to the owner. Reasonable kitchen utensils - as the house sleeps 8, a few more mugs would be good - just 3 wine glasses! The heating arrangement appears that the control on the wall has to be turned up manually, so the house cannot be set to warm an hour before getting up so someone has to be up to sort that early! The lights are on settings that switch off - the kitchen light automatically switches on when someone enters and stays on for a time until motion is not detected - no manual switch, annoying to be honest not to be able to turn the bright light off manually (especially when you have a migraine headache and need to still use the kitchen!) Although showing pretty towels and cosy blankets in the advertising photos, we had quite thin brown towels, no blankets (which would have been appreciated on a chilly evening) and no books or homely touches - a corporate look I guess. We have been coming to Llandudno as an extended family for many years - this is the first place we have stayed with no welcome pack - not even a solitary bottle of wine - just a few sachets of tea/long life milk and some pods for the coffee machine. The Welsh welcome sadly missing! All in all, it works well as spacious accommodation for extended family (separate sleeping floors and 3 showers) handy for it's location with private parking - but maybe missing those little touches that make it a little more comfortable - especially for when staying more than a few days.

We loved our stay at Oxford House there was plenty of room for all 8 of us,4 adults and 4 children aged 6,7,8 n 9, the kids played board games, did crafts, played cards sat at the table, we all sat comfortably in the evenings watching movies, the snug was great for Grandad to spend time watching his sport and abit of peace on his own. The beds were so comfy and an added bonus of a TV in each room, The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, the hob took a little getting used to being an induction one. Only niggle was not enough plastic beakers for the kids but soon remedied gave the 2 older kids mugs, not glass as the 7 yr old is known for knocking things over. The kitchen chairs some were abit wobbly we didnât have an Allen key to tighten them so tightened them best we could but werenât a problem, the hoover wasnât picking up it was all blocked up but soon sorted and emptied and cleaned out. I personally would have liked a door curtain up at the front door so could close it at nighttime but thatâs just me. The kitchen and snug could do with a blind up at the windows and a downstairs toilet would be a good thing. We would definitely return and recommend a stay at Oxford House truly a great stay thank you.

The bedrooms are spacious. The living room is gorgeous, great size but still cosy. Kitchen has everything you need. They provided tea, coffee, sugar, coffee pods, cleaning product, cloth, tea towel etc. Garden area is perfect, a little sun trap! Lovely big hallway with plenty of space for coats and shoes. In a great location, a stroll to Llandudno pier was about 20 minutes. A weekend wasnât long enough, could have stayed a week as we all felt very at home here! Would definitely recommend this house for a stay in Llandudno.
